**EDIT 2:
[link]
You're welcome, Internet.**EDIT: Greetings, children! It seems like I've got a bit of news!
It has been brought to my attention that, not only was LHF obviously ripped off by this person, but she was also Frankenstein tracing her work!
See for yourself: [link] and [link] . She's being reported as I speak.
Edit: Okay, I don't know why ref2 won't show up. I've uploaded it two separate times...Okay, so apparently the cool thing to do is to make journals about other peoples' business. I WANNA BE COOL.
Note: The links after the quotations in this journal are links to the exact quote which has been copied here. These comments are not hidden, because we have nothing to hide.
Most of the people that watch me, I imagine, are familiar with *
LadyHellFyre and her character
Vistyne Sinestora.
The OriginalA few months ago, virtual mirror image of her slithered, albeit poorly drawn, into the art world,
Melayne.. uhh.. something, "created" by ~
Crimson-Silvrblood.
The CloneNow, lets get something straight right off the bat, and LHF worded it well herself:
"i DO NOT think that i own horns, demonesses, succubi, spiked tails, mesh, bikini shaped outfits, long hair with parts over one eye, stilettos, dragon tattoos, body scars, or names with the letter 'y' inserted instead of 'i'...But when you've created something with that entire combination packed into one, it's a little obvious where you got the idea. Not to mention, with a style that looks utterly copy-pasted from my old works." - *
LadyHellFyre;
[link]An itemized list of similarities (reffed from LHF's journal):
1. Incredibly similar reference pose.
2. Scar across side of waist.
3. Similarly shaped horns (Note that the inner and outer curves are exactly the same).
4. Horned animal skulls on weapons and attire.
5. Similar use of asymmetrical fishnets/mesh
6. Dragon tattoo on same arm. (Original Credit: Yu Yu Hakusho)
7. Spikes on tail.
8. The Outfit:
Original
Clone
9. Eerie bi-colored eyes.
10.
Even down to the preferred color of eyeshadow.Attempts to confront ~
Crimson-Silvrblood about this have been met with maliciousness, followed by blocking. Every comment on her works with links to drawings of Vistyne and lists of similarities have been hidden by the artist. Instead of providing proof for any claim she makes, she throws insults like a grade school child.
For example, after receiving a handful of comments on the art in question, she raided my gallery and started posting comments on my work (
[link]):
"You think this crap and this shitty anatomy is better then mine? HA" - ~
Crimson-Silvrblood;
[link] To which, after some bickering (mostly about how furry characters
couldn't possibly have better anatomy than hers), my sister, ~
HomicidalManda and I begged the question:
"I would like an itemized list of what you think is wrong with the anatomy in this drawing. EXCLUDING the obvious "FURFAGGY" parts..." - Me;
[link]"Point them out and I'll tell you why you are wrong." - ~
HomicidalManda;
[link]At no point did Crimson-Silvrblood actually offer to provide examples to back up her claims, responding with, "I have better things to do then waste my life with you. Of course, i actually have a life." -
[link]A
life. Yes. She can argue ALL DAY LONG and then when she's confronted in a way that she cannot escape without humiliation,
OH YEAH! SHE HAS A LIFE!~
Crimson-Silvrblood and her friend, ~
asmilingmalice, have both authored journal entries about the incident. Neither of them have provided any proof to negate the plagiarism claims. You can see those journals
here and
here (screen capped in case of deletion--just let me know).
To add to the hilarity, you can read in the comments that asmilingmalice claims that she was getting PMs from LHF's "followers" about the situation. When asked to provide proof of this claim, she refused immaturely, just as her friend had previously. (source:
[link]) Now, why LHF's watchers would be sending PMs to someone
completely fucking uninvolved is a great mystery to me...
And here we are now--I'm writing this long fucking journal to bring awareness to this greatest of internet jokes, but also to document it for my own personal amusement.
Charles Caleb Colton is responsible for coining the phrase, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."
To that, I counter with a quote from Herman Melville:
"It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation."Memorable Quotes"And as a side note, why would I rip off of a little girl who created a slut? Well, actually, I can see why seeing as your friend has her slutty little pictures all over the internet. A slut creating a slut! It works!" - ~
Crimson-Silvrblood playing the part of the pot calling the kettle black;
[link]"You will never manage to get anyone but your furfag followers to believe that I stole someone elses art. And of course, people who don't seem to see you as much of an annoying prick as I do." - YOU WILL NEVER STOP ME BOND--Oh wait, wrong story...
[link]"since when does a furfag know anything about original characters?" -
[link] she responded to a list of famous video games, cartoons, and movies with:
"they aren't furfags. just you." -
[link]So, my
furfag followers... Do you believe me?
- xoxo
